Description of Refractory Cement CA40
Calcium aluminate cement CA40 is mainly composed of calcium aluminate minerals, and is rich in calcium aluminate minerals. The unique mineral phase composition enables the product to not only possess the high temperature resistance of aluminate cement products, but also excellent wear resistance, unique resistance to weak acid and bio derived sulfuric acid erosion. Iron aluminate cement has been widely used in industries such as chemical building materials, high-tech concrete, sewage and pipeline engineering, mining, refractory materials, etc
Features:
Rapid Setting and Hardening: CA40 sets and hardens quickly, allowing for accelerated construction schedules and efficient project completion.
High-Temperature Resistance: Ideal for use in high-temperature environments such as kilns, furnaces, and refractory linings, CA40 maintains its integrity under extreme heat.
Chemical Resistance: CA40 demonstrates excellent resistance to acidic and alkaline substances, making it suitable for chemical processing and environments with harsh conditions.
Enhanced Durability: Offers superior durability and longevity in various applications, reducing maintenance and replacement needs.
Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of uses including industrial flooring, rapid repairs, and specialized concrete formulations.
Application:
The refractoriness of calcium aluminate cement CA40 is around 1300 ℃, which can be used as a binder for general medium and low temperature refractory materials. It is not suitable for refractory materials under high temperature loads and reducing atmospheres. Compared with the higher iron phase of aluminate cement products, the iron aluminate cement has both high temperature resistance and excellent wear resistance, making it more suitable for the preparation of high-temperature and wear-resistant castables. Iron aluminate cement and refractory aggregate form a ceramic bonding phase at a high temperature of around 1000 ℃. This unique ceramic bonding phase makes iron aluminate cement refractory castables have superior medium temperature performance and high temperature anti stripping performance.
